SPLIT CASING PUMPS

Split case centrifugal pumps feature a single double suction or two single suction impellers supported between bearings. The casing is split axially, with opposing suction and discharge flanges, greatly simplifying maintenance.

With balanced bearings and a robust overall design it’s not uncommon to find SPP horizontal split case pumps still in use after 70 years of service.

Suitable for electric or diesel drives, split case pump duties range from around 760 litres/min to 19,000 litres/min.

SPP Pumps also boasts the largest UL Listed horizontal fire pump to date – with a capacity of 8,000 USgpm.

FIRE WATER PUMPS

Our fire pump packages are delivered complete and ready for installation, incorporating pumps, drivers, control systems and pipework all in a single container. Designed, built and tested at our factory, these packages are effective and fully functional the first time and every time.

Your Pumping Solution in One Package

Simply requiring fast, easy connection to water and power once sited, they significantly reduce time and labour costs, becoming operational almost immediately.

Insulated enclosures minimise operating noise levels, whilst pre-assembly and testing in the factory eliminates potential coordination problems later on site. Each complete pump house can be engineered and tailored to meet the required specifications.

END SUCTION PUMPS

This reliable design has become the most common centrifugal pump arrangement with its horizontal shaft, overhung impeller and bearing arrangement with the added bonus of being space-saving for your application.

A Reliable Centrifugal Pump

The highly efficient end suction pump is one of the simplest types of centrifugal pump that features motor slide rails and a back pull-out design allowing for ready access and ease of maintenance. It’s a precision-made pump suitable for electric/diesel drives, designed to withhold temperatures of up to 580°F.

MULTISTAGE PUMPS
Ideal for high head applications, SPP’s range of Horizontal and Vertical Multistage pumps is designed for applications that require a heavy-duty long-life pump.
SOLIDS HANDLING AND SOLIDS

SHM are horizontal non-clog pumps having single stage, single suction with back pull out type design. SHS are vertical non-clog pumps for wet pit applications. The pump section is suspended by a column pipe which also protects the transmission shaft.

These pumps can be offered with a column length up to 6.5 m. The impeller is single suction type non-clog, free flow dynamically balanced. For SHM pumps the standard lubrication is grease and the optional one is oil. In case of SHS pumps the lubrication is grease based. These pumps are widely used in paper industries, for water carrying gravel, sewage collection and so on.

TRANSFORMER OIL PUMPS

The inline and elbow transformer oil pumps are dependent on their oil cooler pump system, which is a fundamental component. With 90 years of product reliability and expertise in transformer oil pumps and transformer cooler systems, SPP has proven to give the transformer the support it demands.

PLEUGER INDUSTRIES SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS

Built for a wide range of applications within the water, marine, offshore, oil & gas, and mining industries.

This range of pumps is fully submersible, and features products available in a wide variety of sizes and designs, providing pumping solutions for a wide variety of applications.

VERTICAL TURBINE PUMPS

Where the fire protection water source is located below ground or deck level, a multi-stage vertical suspended water pump is the best solution.

API PUMPS

SPP Pumps API product range is offered in single, two-stage or multi-stage designs. Providing the very best in pump performance and reliability, API sets the standard in the Renewables,  Energy CCS, Hydrogen, and traditional Hydrocarbon pumping industries.

VERTICAL INLINE CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS

SPP Pumps vertical inline centrifugal pumps are lightweight and compact with an upright design, ideal for smaller pump rooms and installations where space is confined. Due to their inline structure, these high performance single stage centrifugal pumps provide high-end liquid travel.

SPP vertical in-line pumps are available for duties from 200 to 1500 US gallons per minute (USGPM) and are suitable for electric drives only. These high performance pumps can also be offered as pre-wired packages that include a limited or full-service controller. Every package is mounted on a steel fabricated base with the motor wired to the controller. The automatic air relief valve, casing relief valve, suction gauge and discharge gauge are mounted on their respective spool pieces.

Additional piping, valves and sensing lines are available with the in-line packages. This package also includes a jockey pump and jockey pump controller.

The pump holds a vertical motor allowing for easy access to pump internals for maintenance and repairs.

MULTI-STAGE/MULTI-OUTLET

SPP Pumps is the first company to offer FM Approved multi-stage multi-outlet (MSMO) pumps. Using multiple impellers to generate more head than a single impeller, MSMO pumps are used in fire protection systems in most tall buildings including offices, hospitals and hotels.

MSMO pumps offer many benefits: buildings need fewer pumps; pipework and valves are reduced; the need for water storage tanks on intermediate floors is eliminated; and the loading on the building is reduced. The cost and space saving implications are significant: power requirements are lower, pump rooms can be smaller and, in line with new EU legislation, there is no need to use pressure reducing valves to prevent over-pressurisation of sprinkler heads. Driven by electric motors or diesel engines, SPP MSMO pumps are available to satisfy any LPCB specification for automatic sprinkler protection in high rise and multiple story buildings.

CONTRACTORS PUMPS

First developed by SPP Pumps in 1888, the vacuum-assisted, self-priming Dewatering range has become the benchmark for reliable, durable and compliant pump Dewatering solutions.

Manoeuvrable and versatile, contractor autoprime pumps are supplied either in open set configuration or, for quiet, unobtrusive operation, with an acoustic canopy enclosure. With an extensive range spanning stocked products and custom-built pump sets, dewatering is the solution of choice for thousands of demanding, project-critical applications in the UK and overseas.

Dewatering purchasers include rental organisations, civil works contractors, utility companies, local authorities and municipalities and open cast mining operations.
