Gorman-Rupp Super-U Series® pumps are among the most efficient self-priming, solids handling pumps available on the market. Their unique hydraulic design and smooth wall volute casing minimize friction loss and drag. The multi-vane, open impeller is designed for high-efficiency operation yet can still handle limited solids. The pumps deliver high efficiencies (up to 75%) and perform efficiently across a broad operating range. Varying machine loads that cause pumps to operate right or left of their best efficiency point will affect operating efficiency by only a mynute percentage. These pumps offer the same reliability and performance as the U-Series with additional features.

Roto-Prime® priming-assisted centrifugal pumps are specifically designed for pumping petroleum products, petrochemicals and solvents. The Roto-Prime design incorporates a variable capacity vane pump which quickly and automatically evacuates air and vapor, making the pump ideal for loading and off-loading transports and stripping hoses.
Whenever air or vapor is present at the start of the pumping operation - or when there is a loss of suction because of air or vapor during pumping - the priming pump automatically moves air and vapor from the suction line to the discharge line. Once the flowing liquid from the centrifugal portion of the pump builds up sufficient pressure in the discharge system, this pressure backs up through a tube to act on the bottom of the priming pump's moveable slide block, placing it in a neutral position. Under these conditions the priming pump no longer evacuates air, but merely circulates a small amount of liquid.

80 Series® pumps are designed for non-stop workloads. The straight-in-suction design of these high-efficiency pumps guarantees quick, positive self-priming and allows them to operate at high suction levels than most other self-priming centrifugal pumps. Liquid enters directly into the impeller eye. A suction check valve presents in-line return flow when the pump is shut off. And, because 80 Series pumps have few moving parts, maintenance is minimal. 80 Series pumps are available with self-lubricated mechanical shaft seals.

Gorman-Rupp’s TankleenorTM provides quick, efficient and economical cleaning of petroleum storage tanks. The unit is a lightweight, wheelmounted cleaning system designed for one-man operation and is easily moved from job to job.
Even when tanks are thought to be free of moisture and foreign debris, they often contain enough water and other contaminants to degrade the stored product. The Gorman-Rupp TankleenorTM can remove contaminants including gel precipitates, microbial growths, rust and water, without disturbing the product or taking the tank out of service.
Operating liquid drawn from the contaminant tank circulates through the pump and creates a vacuum at the eductor. The vacuum draws moisture and contaminants through the cleanout hose and back to the eductor, where it mixes with the operating liquid and is carried to the contaminant tank.
At the heart of this system is a 2” Gorman-Rupp O Series® self-priming centrifugal pump with Viton® or Buna seal, close-coupled to a 1 HP Class 1, Group D, single phase explosion-proof TEFC electric motor with 50’ (15 m) of 12 gauge, type SO cable.
The pump is equipped with a venturi-type eductor which permits recirculation of the operating fluid without contaminating the tank, and a handoperated valve for backflushing. The discharge and suction ports of the pump are fitted with quick-connect couplers.

Gorman-Rupp O Series® gear-reducer, power take-off (PTO) pumps are ideal for a variety of clean liquid-handling applications. Whether it’s controlling dust at a quarry or supplying aircraft fuel, O Series PTO pumps excel in moving fluids that do not contain large solids.
Their rugged, lightweight construction and compact design enable mounting in the unused space between the cross member of the chassis frame on refueling and water transfer vehicles. Power take-off pumps provide the performance to handle the rates of fuel required by local service carriers and suppliers. These pumps are ideal for handling fuel oil, gasoline or other petroleum based products. And, when necessary, their efficient, economical design permits multiple unit installation making them perfect for fire trucks and water wagons.

The Dimminutor provides automatic screening and grinding of liquid borne solids with a straight through open channel design. This unit reduces plastics, wood, vegetable matter, disposables, and other oversized items to a fine particulate. The Dimminutor’s unique features, heavy precision construction, dependable operation and simplified maintenance have earned it a solid reputation amongst operators and specifying engineers worldwide.
Continuous Torque Rotation
The Dimminutor employs a smooth, continuously rotating design with high torque always available on demand. As its three bi-directional rotary cutters intermesh at close clearance with stationary cutters, solids are finely reduced to a size small enough to pass through a sizing screen. The Dimminutor is designed for unobstructed flow even during reversing cycles. The Dimminutor design has no gaps or openings between the screen and cutters so output is controlled and complete reduction assured.
The TASKMASTER TM8500 grinders set the standard for effective solids
reduction, reliability and ease of maintenance. These units combine unique
construction features with outstanding performance to provide optimal
protection of plant processes and equipment as well as trouble-free operation.
These versatile, processors finely reduce such materials as rags, plastics, wood, debris, tampons, sanitary napkins, solid waste and more. They are invaluable in plant operations worldwide, keeping pipelines flowing, reducing pump downtime, enhancing screenings handling and protecting dewatering equipment such as centrifuges, filter presses and more.
Taskmaster TM8500 grinders are heavily constructed for long life. These versatile units are available in a choice of configurations for channel, inline or gravity installations. These units are provided in standard ductile and steel construction with hardened alloy shafting and cutters or in optional stainless steel construction. The TM8500 features a unique and highly reliable, severe duty, 90 psi mechanical seal system housed in a convenient cartridge.
The Super Shredder® in-line disintegrator reduces tough solids entrained in pipeline systems. This unit combines world class size reduction capabilities with a streamlined easy to maintain design that features only a few working elements. The Super Shredder is ideal for applications requiring a heavy-duty size reduction processor that can handle high flows with minimal headloss.
The Super Shredder utilizes a low speed and high torque action to chop, grind and shred solids into fine bits that can be easily processed by downstream equipment. It’s innovative open-center spherical rotor design maintains a high percentage of open area—making this unit practically invisible to the flow. In fact, it can handle higher flows than any other in-line grinder available.
